Kilbeggan & Windsor Racing Tips - Andrew Mount's Best Bets for Monday 15 June

Andrew Mount heads to Kilbeggan and Windsor on Monday 15 June for his best bets. He picks out a brace of each-way picks for today, as he looks to head into Royal Ascot on a positive note.

Kilbeggan Racing Tips (Monday 15 June 2026)

Eight races take place at Kilbeggan on Monday, with Andrew’s best bet lining up in the 5.12pm contest.

5.12 Kilbeggan – Riaan (0.5pt e/w – 14/1 Paddy Power, bet365, both four places, 12/1 generally)

On the eve of Royal Ascot today’s racing has a ‘calm before the storm’ feel to it but there are a couple of interesting races tonight, not least the Galway Plate Trial at Kilbeggan. Speed figure stand-out Rising Dust could have done without the recent rain and this looks like a genuine prep before a crack at the main event. Last year’s winner Gaelic Arc has a fine record in the May to July period, recording form figures of 1133P18941200F1 (5-15) for a profit of £62.50 to a £1 level stake at SP but I’m put off by the yielding to soft official going description and will just be having a small saver on the ten-year-old. Of greater interest and at a bigger price is the Gordon Elliott-trained Riaan, who has been freshened up since his respectable 25-1 fourth of 14 in a 2m4f Grade 3 handicap chase at the Punchestown Festival which came on the back of a 210-day break. When rested for at least six weeks since his latest outing his record reads 214204214 (2-9) for a profit of £17.00, suggesting each-way claims on ground he handles better than most of his rivals.

Windsor Racing Tips (Monday 15 June 2026)

It’s a 6.00pm start at Windsor with seven races taking place throughout the evening. Andrew’s pick of the card runs in the 7.00pm race.

7.00 Windsor – Righthere Rightnow (1pt each-way – 15/2 sky bet, five places, is the best option, otherwise 8/1 Paddy Power, first four)

Righthere Rightnow, who fared second best of the three-year-old contingent when fifth to stablemate Candy in the Ayr Silver Cup last autumn, is worth to double his career tally in this 6f sprint series qualifier. In-form Richard Spencer’s four-year-old has failed to score since landing a Newmarket maiden on his juvenile debut but has numerous creditable efforts to his name in defeat, including a Goodwood fourth last October on his sole British run since the Silver Cup and a trio of in-the-frame efforts in Dubai. The drying ground will suit, he’s 5lb lower than at Ayr and his stable has won with seven of their 16 runners in the fast fortnight, with five of the nine beaten horses making the frame including an 18-1 second.
