Musselburgh Racing Tips (Monday 22 June 2026)
Seven races take place at Musselburgh, with a 2.15pm start. Andrew’s sole selection at the Scottish track lines up in the 3.15pm event.
3.15 Musselburgh – Patontheback (0.5pt e/w – 12/1 generally, Sky bet paying first four)
Patontheback has a tricky draw in stall 9 but the return to Musselburgh, where his record at this 7f trip reads 211 (2-3), with the defeat by half a length, is very much in his favour. Gemma Tutty’s eight-year-old never got involved from off the pace at Redcar last time but that run, his second of the current campaign, was probably still needed, and he’s never won on a straight turf track. When racing in Class 6 company on good/faster turf or an all-weather surface his record reads 201102341201181970 (6-18) for a profit of £22.38 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected wins = 2.38, A/E = 2.52) and he’s worth chancing at a double-figure price.
Windsor Racing Tips (Monday 22 June 2026)
Windsor’s traditional Monday evening fixture takes place, with the action kicking off at 5.45pm. Andrew’s best bet on the card runs in the 7.17pm contest.
7.17 Windsor – Glamorous Breeze (1pt e/w – 13/2 Sky Bet, Paddy Power, 888sport, 6/1 generally)
Glamorous Breeze ran a cracker on her reappearance at Goodwood last month, going down by just half a length in a 20-1 third of ten. Christopher Mason’s eight-year-old looked to be travelling best approaching the furlong pole but lack of peak fitness caught her out in the closing stages. She has a good record in handicap company immediately following a defeat – ten wins from 36 runs for a profit of £19.70 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected wins = 6.52, A/E = 1.53) – and she has likes this venue.
Brighton Racing Tips (Monday 22 June 2026)
Six races take place on the south coast at Brighton, with Andrew opting for a big-priced pick in the 8.10pm race.
8.10 Brighton – Lunario (0.5pt e/w – 20/1 bet365, 16/1 generally)
The case for Lunario is far from obvious given his record this season of ninth of nine, seventh of seven, 11th of 14 and 12th of 12. However, he drops down to Class 5 level at Brighton tonight and he’s always taken time to reach peak fitness each term. The Luke Dace-trained six-year-old has a good record when he’s had four of more runs in the previous three months, recording form figures of 122311311748 (5-12) for a profit of £25.75 to a £1 level stake at SP (expected wins = 1.39, A/E = 3.60). In fields of seven or fewer runners only, his record is 111 (3-3). He faces just five rivals tonight and the change of headgear from cheekpieces to a visor could wake him up.
