Race of the day is undoubtedly the 5f Listed Woodlands Stakes at Naas this evening where 14 runners do battle in a 7-2 the field contest. Historically, low draws have fared well and that’s good news for British raiders Getreadytorumble (stall 3) and Fahrenheit Seven (stall 4). Jack Channon’s four-year-old Getreadytorumble didn’t run at two but proved most progressive over trips of about 5f last year, recording form figures of 21132213 (3-8). He signed off with a solid third in the Listed Rous Stakes at York and the Channon yard has traditionally done well with older horses shipped to Ireland – those aged four and older are six from 24 this century for a profit of £45.50 to a £1 level stake at SP. Since taking over the license from his father Channon has also done very well with horses returning from a break of 150 days or longer, scoring with 23 of the 94 qualifiers for a profit of £78.46.
Wolverhampton Racing Tips (Monday 27 April 2026)
It’s a 5.30pm start for the all-weather action at Wolverhampton, but you have to wait until 8.30pm for Andrew’s best bet on the card.

Like with True Promise yesterday, I want to oppose another consistent but hard-to-win-with type in Joey Ramsden’s Forever Noah, winner of just one of his 22 starts. His trainer’s runners tend to get over-bet too, and he’s saddled just five winners from 101 runners (-£61.25 to a £1 level stake at SP) against an expected wins score of more than 11. The one to play each-way against the 3-1 joint-favourite is Street Life, who returns to his optimum conditions after his respectable 11-1 sixth of 13 at Southwell on April 2nd. In-form Pat Morris’ veteran has won at Southwell but is happier at tonight’s venue and his record over course and distance in Class 5 or lower company and when drawn ins tall 4 or lower stands at 1223235212333132 (3-16), suggesting each-way claims.
