Nottingham & Salisbury Racing Tips - Steve Chambers' Lucky 15 Tips for Tuesday 21st July

There’s flat racing at Nottingham and Salisbury on Tuesday 21st July, and it’s those two meetings we focus the GG Lucky 15 on. Steve Chambers takes a look through the form at both fixtures and picks out his best bets across the brace of meetings.

Nottingham Tips (Tuesday 21st July 2026)

A seven race card begins at Nottingham at 2.45pm, with the action concluding at 5.50pm. Check out the best bets for the day.

4.15 Nottingham – Sahm Naif (1pt win – 2/1)

Beauty Generation only has three wins from 29 starts, so despite his win the other day he’s one not necessarily to rely on. So, side with Sahm Naif, who heads into the 4.15pm at Nottingham with two wins on the bounce. A winner at Redcar on Sunday, the three-year-old will make a quick turnaround and line up on Tuesday. He will have a 6lbs penalty to carry in this event, but looks capable of continuing his fine form and landing the hat-trick.

4.45 Nottingham – Great Mates (1pt win – 4/1)

Marco Botti’s Great Mates one-and-a-quarter length win at Yarmouth has earned him a 3lbs rise by the handicapper, but he still looks capable of more. He will have to give significant weight away to his rivals in the 4.45pm at Nottingham, but a replication of that Yarmouth run should see him go close again. Only five runners head to post, but the entire field have been running well of late, so Great Mates will need to continue on the upgrade. However, he shaped liked there’s more to come and duly defy 9st 13lbs.

16:45 Hospitality At Nottingham Racecourse Fillies’ Handicap

5.50 Nottingham – Come On Over (1pt win – 2/1)

David O’Meara’s Come On Over has been performing with credit at Doncaster of late and finally landed a first career win at the 12th time of asking. Now, looking to quickly follow up in the 5.50pm at Nottingham, the Kodiac gelding will be looking to defy a 4lbs rise. Prior to that win on Town Moor he was getting close to getting his head in front, so he’s certainly in excellent shape heading into the final race on the card. He will need more, but the confidence-boosting success should bring him on again to feature prominently again.

Salisbury Tips (Tuesday 21st July 2026)

Salisbury’s evening flat fixture begins at 6.21pm, with six races taking place across the night. We have a solitary pick to make up Tuesday’s GG Lucky 15.

7.51 Salisbury – Celeborn (1pt win – 6/4)

George Boughey’s Celeborn was well fancied to run well at Ayr last time out, but he could only finish fifth. He had struggled on his previous outing at Epsom, but a drop of 1lb and only three rivals taking him on in the 7.51pm means he could be capable of landing a win. Blue Prince won two starts ago, but was third last time out, so could be worth taking on. Boughey reaches for the cheekpieces for Celeborn in this contest, and if they can work, then he can give weight away to all his rivals and get his head in front.
