Redcar Racing Tips (Tuesday 15 September 2026)
Seven races take place at Redcar, with the action getting under way at 1.53pm. You have to wait until 4.54pm for Andrew’s best bet on the card, however.
4.54 Redcar – Under the Radar (1pt e/w – 13/2 general)
The stands’ side rail has been strongly favoured at recent Redcar meetings, giving those drawn high a huge edge. Speeding Bullet (stall 14 of 14) and Zuffolo (stall 12), winner of this race in 2024, both have possibilities but Tim Easterby’s Under The Radar (stall 9) possesses the best gate speed and could be first to the rail in the first-time cheekpieces. stable jockey David Allan rides him over 7-2 Albegone (stall 3), poorly drawn in the far side and his latest 33-1 Beverley fifth from a poor wide draw suggested that his turn was near.
Wolverhampton Racing Tips (Tuesday 15 September 2026)
A whopping nine races take place on the all weather at Wolverhampton, with Andrew’s selections lining up in the 7.30pm and 8.00pm races, respectively.
7.30 Wolverhampton – Magic Runner (0.5pt e/w – 28/1 Sky Bet, Paddy Power, both four places, 25/1 Hills, four places)
This 9.4f 0-65 is likely to be run at a strong gallop thanks to the presence of front-runners Ballo’s Blues, Special Ghaiyyath, Sahm Naif and Snaafy. Throw in prominent racers Eagle Day, The Dark Baron and Norflondonforever and it’s difficult to escape the conclusion that it will be set up for a closer. Last year’s winner Stipulation is of interest, but the form of the Mark Loughnane yard is a concern, and a better bet, albeit at a much bigger price, could be in-form Ruth Carr’s Magic Runner. The four-year-old was only sixth over course and distance last time but that was on a fillies-only handicap, and they tend not to go quick enough for her in those races – her record against her own sex now reads 5434556 (0-7). The tempo of this race will suit and she’s worth a small each-way bet despite her wide draw.
8.00 Wolverhampton – Henery Hawk (1pt win – 6/1 general)
This 5f Class 6 handicap looks very playable as current 5-2 favourite Little Jaybee is 0-9 in handicap company while 5-1 second favourite Koffee And Kale is 0-10 in non-maiden/novice company. Henery Hawk can usually be relied upon to run his race at this venue, recording form figures in Class 6 company of 129512323612 (3-12), improving to 1912361 (3-7) when returned to the track within three weeks of his latest start. Linda Perratt’s seven-year-old only went down by a neck over course and distance a fortnight ago and Kaiya Fraser, 1-1 on him at tonight’s venue, takes over from a 5lb claimer.
