Salisbury Racing Tips (Sunday 14 June 2026)
Seven races take place at Salisbury this afternoon, with the action starting at 2.14pm. Andrew Mount’s best bet lines up in the opening contest and is an eye-catching double-figured priced runner.
2.14 Salisbury – Creciente (1pt win – 14/1 bet365, 12/1 Hills Coral)
Creciente wouldn’t be an obvious bet after finishing last of 13 in a 6f 0-55 handicap at Lingfield (turf) late last month, but she got no sort of run against the near side rail under Oliver Searle and was allowed to come home in her own time once her chance had gone. Rod Millman’s three-year-old, who was wearing cheekpieces for the first time (retained today), attracted some market interest at big prices that day and looks to have gone under the radar here. The daughter of Lope Y Fernandez ran with credit at today’s venue on her penultimate start, finishing a 14-1 fifth of 15 behind 5-1 winning stablemate Maid In Devon, who comfortably followed up over the same track and trip. The seventh and eighth from that race both placed on their next runs (2nd 9-1 and 3rd 25-1) and her yard has won this 7f apprentice “hands and heels” contest before.
Doncaster Racing Tips (Sunday 14 June 2026)
It’s a 2pm start for Doncaster’s eight-race card. Andrew’s best bet on the card runs in the 3.30pm contest.
3.30 Doncaster – Only Dream Big (9/1 generally, several firms paying first five)
Only Dream Big never got competitive in three runs at big prices in novice company at Carlisle in a three-week spell last August/September and I had expected her to be punted when lining up in her first nursery. However, Tim Easterby’s filly was sent off at 50-1 when making her handicap debut in first-time blinkers in a 7f 0-60 nursery at Newcastle on September 30th and again, never got involved, racing wide down the middle of the track when all the action was on the stands’ side rail.
Eighth of 13 wasn’t a bad effort in the circumstances and she took a step forward at Redcar on her 2026 reappearance next time, meeting trouble in running on her way to a 22-1 fourth of ten, beaten by just a length and a half. At first glance, her subsequent two-length fifth in a 6f Carlisle handicap was a backwards step but it paid to be drawn high that day (first three drawn 8, 9 and 7 of 9, non-runner adjusted) and she challenged towards the far rail from stall 2. The return to an easy 7f should suit and she’s worth a small bet to get off the mark.
