Wexford Racing Tips (Tuesday 21 July 2026)
Seven races take place on Tuesday at Wexford, with Andrew’s best bet lining up in the 3.50pm contest.
3.50 Wexford – Chosen Shant (2pt win – 4/1 generally)
Chosen Shant performs best in high summer (June to August) recording form figures of 33834211371 (3-11) for a profit of £8.33 to a £1 level stake at SP. Since joining current handler Aengus King her form figures under these conditions are 211371 (3-6), improving to 111 (3-3) in today’s grade (+£16.83 to a £1 level stake at SP). All three wins came at today’s venue and she’s likely to prove hard to beat on the back of her comfortable C&D win late last month.
Lingfield Racing Tips (Tuesday 21 July 2026)
Lingfield host an evening flat fixture and Andrew has a brace of selections in the 8.10pm event.
8.10 Lingfield – Mojito (1pt win – 9/2 generally) & Wetsand (1pt win – 10/1 bet365, 9/1 generally)
Mojito made a winning seasonal/handicap debut over a straight 7f on fast ground at Doncaster in late April, scoring by two and a half lengths. Richard Hannon’s filly reportedly lost her action when tailed off (100-30 favourite) at Salisbury 28 days later and has been freshened up since. The 60-day break can be viewed positively in light of her reappearance success, and she has the best of the draw in stall 8 of 8.
I’m also backing Wetsand (stall 6), who wears a visor for the first time. Trainer James Owen does well with this headgear scoring with 26 of the 85 qualifiers (30.6% strike-rate) for a profit of £21.64 to a £1 level stake at SP (latest qualifier High Fibre ran out a well backed winner at Market Rasen last Saturday). She too is well drawn and has the early speed to take advantage of it. The four-year-old arrives here on the back of a modest 18-1 sixth at Pontefract but she was drawn wide that day and paid for pressing the early leader on her inside.
