There’s a seven race all-weather card at Wolverhampton racecourse on Tuesday evening, with all the action sponsored by BetUK & BetMGM, and our in-house tipster Steve Chambers takes a look at the action and picks a selection for each race on a competitive night’s racing.

5.30pm – Always Gamble Responsibly With BetUK ‘Hands And Heels’ Apprentice Handicap
Tony Carroll’s SEND IN THE CLOUDS was highly tried in 2023 winning three of his 16 runs, with the last of those victories coming back in September and he will return to the track in the opener at Wolverhampton after over 100 days off the track. He steps significantly up in trip for this 1m 5f 219y contest, but he does have success over one-and-a-half miles, so he should have no issues with seeing out the finish and off 59 he looks more than capable of making the frame at the very least.
6.00pm – Best Odds Guaranteed At BetMGM Handicap
Still a maiden after 13 starts, John Butler’s JUNGLE DANCE can finally taste victory for the first time in the 6.00pm contest. Second two starts ago over five furlongs, he was last seen over six and he was just reeled in in the closing stages of that contest, so a drop back to the minimum trip of five furlongs on Tuesday should see him have his best chance of landing the win in a pretty mediocre contest. He will be blinkered for the first time here, which should help him relax in this event, and if he can settle then he should just have too much for his rivals.
6.30pm – Stay Golden With BetMGM Safer Gambling Handicap
Scott Dixon’s HARBOUR VISION was just touched off last time out at Wolverhampton and the nine-year-old three-time course-and-distance winner can grab a fourth success on Tuesday evening in the 6.30pm race. He remains on the same mark of 59 for this event and his last victory came off a figure of 60, so he’s attractively handicapped to go close and he can certainly play a notable role in what is a very trappy betting heat.
7.00pm – Bet 10 Get 40 At BetMGM Maiden Fillies’ Stakes
CRIMSON CORONET may have bumped into a decent performer in the shape of George Boughey’s Alhattan last time out at Newcastle, but the Charlie Fellowes-trained filly can build on that second placed finish and grab a maiden success in the 7.00pm contest. Despite being beaten that day by three lengths, she pulled three lengths clear of the third and improved significantly on her first outing at Kempton, so the daughter of Zoustar can continue on an upward curve and land victory in this event.
7.30pm – BetUK. Home Of The Acca-Fenwa Handicap
Beauzon is sure to prove extremely popular in this event as the Ian Williams-trained star aims to land a sparkling fifth victory on the bounce at 7.30pm and is entitled to go very close. However, he will have to contend with another notable 5lbs rise in this event, so will need to continue to improve and there could be some more attractive value elsewhere.
Paul Midgley’s GLORY FIGHTER is one worth taking a chance on as he failed to fire last time out when fifth, but he found himself up with the lead that day and was unable to maintain it in the closing stages. So, with a more patient ride here and with cheekpieces back on the eight-year-old, who is 12lbs lower than his last winning mark, can strike gold.
8.00pm – Win 2,000,000 With BetMGM’s Golden Goals Handicap
Fionn McSharry’s BERKSHIRE PHANTOM bounded to an impressive two length victory at Wolverhampton on Saturday evening and the flourishing four-year-old will look to make it two wins in under a week on Tuesday and is well fancied to grab the win in the penultimate race on the card. The son of Expert Eye will have to carry a penalty for that victory, so will have more on his plate, but he did the job cosily at the weekend and the penalty shouldn’t hinder him too much and he can land a quickfire double.
8.30pm – Find More Big Deals At BetUK Handicap
WARMINSTER has been well and truly knocking on the door of late finishing second on his last starts at Newcastle and Wolverhampton and the consistent four-year-old son of Ardad can go one better in the final race on the card on Tuesday night. He’s been upped 1lb for his recent runner-up position, but he’s still sure to run a solid race off 62 and while El Hibiri will be a leading rival it’s Warminster that can seal victory.
